Hi! My name is Anne Marie Hart. I was taught to knit at the tender age of 4 by a friendly neighbor. I made a Norwegian fair isle sweater as a teen ('80s a-ha fan!), another sweater in college, more sweaters as the bride of a graduate student and first time mom. More babies, more knitting! Learning to knit as a very young child, I never could have imagined the passion I would develop for the hobby while raising my own nine (yes, NINE!) children. A love of math from my dad, and a love of creating from my mom collided perfectly when I discovered Ravelry and quickly became a test and sample knitter. Technical editing soon followed and proved to be my niche. I have been editing patterns since 2014. After years of gaining experience, with some of the kids out on their own, and the baby no longer a baby, I finally decided to expand my client list. I seek to work with clients who have high standards for their designs, patterns and projects. I also enjoy working with new designers just making a start. I find true joy and pleasure in helping creatives turn their ideas into the best user-friendly, error-free patterns possible.
